Hello world from DevIsc!

Hello, my name is Isaac (aka Malloc, IscMalloc, DevIsc) and I am a passionate developer interested in basically everything! I love to write code (even though the field keeps pushing for agentic development with LLMs) but that doesn’t mean I don’t do some vibe coding from time to time! But I really love doing and understanding things by myself before having someone to do it for me.

I am a 25 years old at the time of writing and based in Mexico and this is my first time sharing a piece of my mind on the internet which is weird for me, I often tend to keep my mind to myself (that doesn’t mean I will share EVERYTHING about me) but I’ll use this space is to share some of my experiences mainly with technology, thoughts on things I like.

I you want to know a bit about me:

1. I love developing and writing code: Since the first line of code I wrote in high school I haven’t stopped since. I love turning ideas into “tangible” realities and that the code can make that a reality.
2. I love music: Since I was young I knew that the music will be a main part of my life and persona. It all started with Strawberry Fields Forever by The Beatles.
   The music in my life presents itself in many forms: The music I listen, the music I produce, the instruments I play, the sung songs, write and so on.
3. I really like movies and series: I really like watching (good) TV series, currently I think my favorite could be Better Call Saul.
4. I like reading: Even though I’m a horrible reader (mostly because I often don’t take time to do so or something happens first) I love books and all they represent: Culture, knowledge, history, imagination, etc. I’ll make sure to
5. I workout: I really like to go to the gym and lift weights basically just for myself: My personal image, the healthy habit, not necessarilly for competition, revenge or hate, I just like to be a little buff (I’m not, really).
6. I like analog and vintage technology: With the technology requiring us to be more connected, leaving us with no privacy or dedicated devices (every new product tries to cram as many features as it can) I really started to like technology from my past, like my iPod or my film cameras. I just like the fact of the anticipation, the no-need for everyone knowing what I’m doing, I just like doing things privately and disconnected.
